Music and Discourse Lecture: Celebrating 50 Years of Bear Family Records In-Person

For 50 years the Bear Family has dedicated their work to researching, preserving, and digitizing historic country, bluegrass, blues, and doo-wop albums.  They are most famous for their box sets, which feature multiple discs and full-color, well-researched, scholarly program notes.  This event will feature a panel of speakers: Kevin Fleming, Director of Archives for the Country Music Hall of Fame; Nancy Riley, Assistant Professor of Music; and Eric Holt, Associate Professor of Music Business.  This event will take place in Hitch 130.
